A royally momentous week for Cheeky Chompers!

We cannot believe the whirlwind week we have had – perhaps the most exciting since our early days of pitching and securing trade deals! What’s been even crazier is that much of the reason for this week’s celebration has been linked to our beloved Royal Family.

If you’d asked us 5 years ago how Cheeky Chompers and the Queen would be connected, you would have had two confused faces looking back at you :-/  But having this week been bestowed (yes…‘bestowed’…how posh are we?!) with the honour of receiving a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, we can honestly say now that we have never felt so thrilled and proud to be captains of the Good Ship Cheeky Chompers!

The award recognises the success that we have achieved in moving into new export markets. You can imagine some of the challenges we have faced when introducing our brand to overseas markets. The cultural differences from one country to the next are of course one hurdle, not to mention all the differing testing requirements to ensure our products are 100% safe for every baby in every country. But we believed in our product and our brand…after all, making parents’ lives easier with #greatstuffthathelps is a pretty universal concept, right? It seems parents across the world agree! We can’t wait to visit Buckingham Palace when it all becomes a reality!

Then came the birth of the Royal baby, and with it, the news of our launch of our latest design for our Neckerchew, Comfortchew and Cheeky Blanket – London Town! We thought our new playful print would be the perfect way to celebrate the little Prince’s arrival, and following this, our Neckerchew made a guest appearance on This Morning on their ‘Best Baby Gifts Fit for Royalty’ feature. So that’s a stamp of approval from the Queen AND Holly Willoughby all in one week!! Delighted? We should think so!! :-D
