From the moment your baby is born your smartphone or iPhone is out snapping shots, multiple times a day. No parent can resist these moments.
Here are a few of the common mistakes parents make when taking baby pictures.
1. Only taking pictures of baby's face
Of course, you want plenty pictures of your baby’s sweet, smiling face. But don’t forget about all of their adorable features . Knee Dimples, leg rolls, chubby feet and fingers also deserve to be well documented.

2. Trying to get them to smile when they should be napping
Choosing a time of day when your baby is tired or hungry probably isn’t the best idea. You are much more likely to have a happy baby and end up with the photos you want if you wait until after a nap or meal times.
And the witching hour should be avoided at all costs
3. Overstimulating baby
I get nannies, grandparents and anyone else to hide from baby at my photography set.
If there are too many people shouting “look here” or just moving around behind the scenes, baby can become distracted or even anxious.
You want them to be focused on the person holding them in the picture or looking at mom behind the camera. That's how you get a really good shot.
How to get a sharp image
You want to ensure your subject is in sharp focus. Fortunately, the iPhone Camera App makes it super-easy to set focus.
Simply frame your shot, then tap the screen where you want to set focus. This would normally be the main subject of your photo.
A yellow box will appear to indicate the focus point.
When you take the photo, the subject that you set focus on will appear crisp and sharp.
Setting the focus is one of the best iPhone camera tricks you can learn.
It only takes a second to set focus and makes a huge difference to the quality of your photos.
