Cheeky Chompers are committed to protecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy relates to our website, use of emails for marketing purposes and any other ways we collect information. It covers how we process any personal information you provide to us, as well as how we're committed to keeping it safe and managing it in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect
The type of information we will collect about you includes name and email address. We do not collect your credit/debit card details. If you use a credit card to purchase from us the credit card details are handled separately by a payment partner such as Paypal and SagePay. Additional details such as location, preferences and interests may also be collected.

What we do with the information we gather
Cheeky Chompers collect and process information about you to:
- Contractually, process your order and contact you regarding your order should this be necessary, for example for queries or complaints. Without this we would be unable to deliver your order or contact you should there be any processing or delivery issues.
- Contact you regarding news, products and promotions by email where you are a customer, or have given permission, no more than twice a month.

Disclosure to third parties
Cheeky Chompers will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes, nor any other reasons unless we are required to do so by law. Where any third party processors have access to your data on our behalf (e.g. an email platform, such as MailChimp), these comply with GDPR legislation. 
Data is transferred to outside the EEA through our use of MailChimp software for direct marketing. This does not affect your rights as MailChimp holds certification for the both the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield, meeting GDPR standards.

Data in Marketing
Cheeky Chompers will use your data for marketing purposes where you are a customer or consent has been given. You can opt out of receiving these communications at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link within any of our email campaigns. You can also opt out by sending us an email to info@cheekychompers.com with your details and we will process this for you. We will keep your data for three years unless you have bought from us again, and will then ask if you still want to keep hearing from us.

Your Personal Information
Cheeky Chompers will endeavour to keep your information accurate and up-to-date. If your personal details change, you can inform us by sending an email to info@cheekychompers.com. You may request a copy of the personal details we hold on you by emailing or writing to us. Other than where we have a legal obligation to retain it, you may also exercise your right to have your data deleted by emailing or writing to us at the Midlothian Innovation Centre, Roslin, EH25 9RE.

If you have any concerns about how we are processing your data, you can email us at info@cheekychompers.com and we will respond to your complaint. If your concern is still not resolved, you have the right to report a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on line.

On occasion, our website may contain links to other websites we feel may be of interest to you. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you view or provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
